The podcast chooses interesting stories and does very thorough research. The host can be a little to much like the American justice tv show by pounding us with full dates every few minutes like it is significant. Better to cast the time change within the story

Jeremy has a great story telling voice.

Jeremy Schwartz is an excellent narrator whose voice is soothing, articulate, and easy to understand and follow along with. I subbed after just one episode and I have no regrets. I’ve listened to a lot of true crime podcasts but this one has covered some stories that I’ve never heard before anywhere else. Jeremy doesn’t add any unnecessary banter or biased opinions and just gets right into the story. Much cheaper subscription than most other true crime podcasts out there too. I highly recommend!

I’m always so excited for new episodes of American Criminal to drop each week. The series is so well written and researched. Even if I’ve heard a story before, I always learn something new from this show. I can’t recommend it enough.

This series is incredible well produced. The writing is top-notch, with excellent pacing and a demonstration of deep research. Jeremy, the host, delivers the stories with great panache, too. And to top it off, the series presents a variety of different crime stories that always keeps me guessing.

Jeremy Schwartz is an entertaining storyteller. The stories are very well told — I enjoy learning about true crime stories I’ve either never heard of or I only know a little about. I appreciate Jeremy’s occasional sarcasm in these stories. One of my faves!

This style of storytelling, paired with such a voice, makes for a very compelling and engaging experience! I hope it continues!

I was listening to HTDS and heard a preview of AC, so I thought I would give it a try. My first series was Georgia Tan. I binged it and I was hooked. Jeremy Swartz has a fantastic ability to tell a story. I wait (impatiently) for several weeks until the full series is uploaded and then binge it. I really enjoy the extra detail provided by a longer series with multiple parts. As soon as Leopold and Lowe is completed, it will be binged! I highly recommend this podcast.

I have been hooked on this show ever since the first episode I listened to. The style of Jeremy's story telling plus his intelligence and witty humor plus the facts that the show provides it's a all around 5 plus star show

Huge fan of the host. He was great in 1865 which turned me on to this podcast. Also a huge fan of American history so this podcast hits multiple levels of interests for me.

Loving the show and the shifts in seasons. Never gets old and Jeremy always keeps it interesting.

I would listen to Jeremy Schwartz read me the phone book. I love his personality and his voice is the best. It adds so much to the storytelling. And the stories are great! Well written, tight episodes with just the right amount of detail without dragging out the episode. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts and AC has covered people and topics I’d never heard before. That’s always a huge bonus for me. I’m always excited to get a new drop of American Criminal in my feed. Keep up the great work, guys! You’re awesome!

I have learned much listening to American Criminal. When I’ve thought I pretty much knew a story, turns out there was lots more to learn. I will never forget about Georgia Tan who I had no knowledge of before listening. Also, I appreciate when you share an episode of another’s podcast which usually leads me to listen to that show as well. These stories are engaging particularly because of Jeremy’s voice and presentation. I actually don’t even mind the commercials. You always come across as sincere.

First heard Jeremy on 1865 and I was hoping to find if he was doing another podcast and found this. This is an amazing show. Well written, well spoken and keeps me well engaged. Whoever claimed there are no sources….thats not true. They tell you what their sources are when they recommend further reading. Keep up the great work!
